  1. What is the Project ‘Association4U’ (‘A4U’)

The EU funded Project "Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement", with its short name 'Association4U', meaning 'Association for Ukraine and for you' supports the implementation of the AA/CFTA. The main objective of the Project is to enhance the capacities and performance of Ukraine’s governmental institutions to comprehensively implement their commitments arising from the Association Agreement. The project most important beneficiaries are the Government Office for European Integration, Office of the Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Line Ministries, implementing the Association Agreement.

  1. The Junior Sectoral Policy Fellow Internship

Currently, we are inviting graduates and future graduates to apply of the position of Junior Sectorial Policy Fellow. The newly selected fellows will work as interns for our beneficiaries. The position is especially suitable for (nearly) graduated students with a Bachelor Degree. The junior fellows will be offered a ‘paid internship’ which means you do not need working experience. Successful candidates will receive coaching and support from international experts and Senior Fellows, as well as an induction training on various aspects EU integration and AA/DCFTA. The duration of internship for the successful candidates is expected till 31 October 2018.

Candidates with an interest in working within 1.) The Secretariat of Cabinet of Ministries; 2.) Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources; 3.)  Ministry of Economic Development and Trade / Export Promotion Office; 4.)  the Ministry of Health, 5) the Ministry of Culture are particularly invited to apply. But as demands of ministries are coming in, potential candidates with interests in working for other ministries and agencies can hand in their application as well.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor Degree (or graduation expected in June) (preferably in Economics, Law, Social Sciences, Communications, Public Administration or a related discipline)
  • Active command of English language (B2)
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Applicants must be able and willing learn to work in the challenging context of EUI and AA/DCFTA

Applicants must be Ukrainian citizens, and should not have been employed by the Ukrainian public administration in the six months prior to the closing date of this offer.
